What I'm interested in:

My research is oriented around exploring the influence different economic structures have on how artists create and about what the idea of "artistic integrity" means under different economic models. My practice is oriented around care and the ways in which intimate expressions are overlooked in art, the historical record, and institutionalization. Additionally, my work is concerned with the processes by which bodies of knowledge are legitimized. I value engaging with the ongoing study of myself as a queer and trans subject, as well as exploring my role as a dynamic subject of history.

Related: I am passionate about creating things that both generate better conditions in our present and build revolutionary optimism for the future.
